About Us
'Engaging with Dementia: from Bench to Bedside' is a public engagement project funded by the Alzheimer's Society to promote:
- Greater public knowledge and understanding of the research into Alzheimer's Disease currently being undertaken within the Faculties of Biological Sciences and Medicine and Health at the University of Leeds, and the outcomes of that research
- Increased public knowledge and understanding of the causes of Alzheimer's Disease and the implications of the disease for Society
The project brings together researchers from across the University of Leeds with an interest in Alzheimer's disease research. It was conceived and led by Dr Dave Lewis. Our members include:
