Engaging With Dementia
With an aging population, dementia is set to rise significantly as a cause of death. Dementia actually covers a group of almost 100 conditions, all of which see a progressive decline in brain function. Of these, Alzheimer’s disease is the most common, with age being the single biggest contributing factor.
